Myryrs & Fact Mag presents ‘COALESCENCE’
A cinematic series exploring spiritual connection through body language and sound.
Yoruba psalms, bewitching cries, and field recordings aggressively complement Witch Trials' dark atmospheric universe of forward-facing sound. Fresh off the back of the inaugural release of Witch Trials' label Myryrs, the Irish-American producer deconstructs the track 'Child' from his latest EP 'Habitual Martyr', with the sound work of British-Nigerian artist ÁNÚ OLÚ.
Notions of self-conditioning, endurance, and mental health rupture through improvised performance, appearing as spirit-possession in a high-octane 35 film collaboration with director Hugh Mulhern and movement director Abdourahman Njie.
